From the outset (in 1969) we have always made it a priority to provide high quality items at very reasonable prices.
We have now tried hard to keep details correct throughout this website. Inevitably there may be an occasional error and we would be most grateful if you would let us know if you notice anything amiss. Similarly, suggestions for improvements to the site, or requests for items you cannot find, are welcomed.
Some products, for example natural patterned stones, may vary considerably. Continuity of exact colour of manufactured goods from batch to batch (and also their colour fastness) cannot always be ensured. Please check any details of stock with us which are important to you - we are always happy to help.
Additionally, although we have taken considerable care to represent the products as clearly as possible, the exact colour of items may vary with the computer screen on which it is viewed. For clarity, some images of products show multiples when the items are sold as singles.
Plated metal jewellery components which are likely to be worn next to the skin comply with the EU nickel directive.
- Stock availability
In the rare event that a major item proves to be out of stock (despite being flagged as available), we will advise you before sending your order out.
- Making a purchase
Simply enter the quantity required (if more than 1) and click on the add (to basket) button. You will see that the "+" sign changes to "1 (or more) added". You can check this by going to My basket (at the top left of the page on the grey horizontal bar).
Payment may be made by Mastercard, Visa, Solo and Maestro cards. We do not charge for orders until they are ready to be sent.
- If you are ordering from abroad you can see a US$ or Euro equivalent by hovering the cursor (arrow) over the UK sterling price. These conversions are calculated at current exchange rates. Please note they should be used as a guide as the exact amount charged will depend on the rate fixed by your credit card company.
We are happy to take orders over the phone if you prefer.
You may also give your credit card information by phone, fax (split between two faxes, please) or post. Please quote the card type followed by the main number, expiry date, start date and security code (last three numbers on the back of the card).
- Minimum order
We have no minimum order but delivery charges are a little higher for orders under ¬£5 so that we can cover processing costs.
- Returns and exchanges
If you are unhappy with your goods you may send them back within seven days in their original condition. We will replace, credit or refund the value, less postage. Please ensure any items sent back to us are carefully wrapped and posted in rigid containers. We would suggest you obtain a certificate of posting from the Post Office as we cannot accept liability for goods that are damaged or lost on their return to us. We regret we cannot accept the return of earfittings used for pierced ears.
We aim to dispatch items within 2 working days. Short delays occasionally occur during busy periods or if we are awaiting imminent delivery of an item essential to your order. If there is likely to be a significant delay in dispatch we will contact you. If you have not received an order within five days, please initially contact your local Royal Mail sorting office to check for local delays to mail.
We reserve the right not to deliver to an alternative address from the card holder address, especially if it is your first time shopping with us.
- Back Orders
If the entire order cannot be dispatched, we will back order goods as appropriate. This will depend on availability of new stock, and that the value of back order goods is sufficient to cover the costs of sending them.
- Delivery Rates
Please click on the link at the bottom of this page for details. (Alternatively click on "Delivery Charges" at the top of each other page). As you will see, we have simplified charges as much as possible for most orders. If heavy goods (mainly items such as presentation boxes and bags) are included in the order, the delivery charge will be allocated when the weight of the package is known.
All prices except books include 17.5% VAT and exclude delivery charges. Orders from outside the EU and from the Channel Islands and BFPO’s have VAT deducted. This also applies to EU customers (exc. UK) who supply a VAT number.
Please request a VAT invoice if required.
Prices may alter without notice but only when unavoidable.
Discounts are built into our quantity rates. Should you require a quantity of an item far in excess of the highest listed rate, please contact us and we will see if we can offer an extra discount.
Mix The quantity of all items ordered in an individual Mix group is totalled to give you the maximum benefit of quantity rates.
Security is a major concern of customers who want to purchase online. We have put in place a system that is much safer than giving your credit card details over the phone or paying for an item in a shop.
When you wish to buy the items you have selected, your browser makes a connection to the secure section of our website. This connection is different from a connection for normal Internet browsing. Your browser should show an icon (padlock) to indicate that it has made a secure connection. Depending on your browser settings, you may also get a message asking you if you want to continue and make the secure connection. We are using the very latest encryption technology. Any personal information you send to our secure server while the padlock icon is showing will be encrypted. This means no-one can intercept your details and read them.
We do not disclose any information about out customers to anyone. "Cookies" are only used on the site for your convenience so that you can recall details of previous orders etc. These are only available on your computer once you have logged in.
